About Dalmatians.

Hopefully you have researched the breed and feel you and your family are suited to a Dalmatian.

Dalmatians are not for every one and you must be fully prepared.  They are very active, athletic  dogs which require alot of exercise every day to keep them happy, well behaved and in good health as a carriage dog should be.  They are strong physically, intelligent and alert and require firm training.

Dalmatians shed little white hair all year round.

This Breed sometimes suffers from Deafness and your puppy should be hearing tested by the breeder.

Did you know Dalmatians can really Smile! They are great companions and like nothing best than to accompany you everywhere! Dalmatians need people and should not be left alone for long periods.

Useful books: "Dalmatians Today" by Patches Silverstone which has everything you need to know about Dalmatians; "The Dog Listener" by Jan Fennell.
